My shih poo did this for his first year. I was instructed by the wise folks here at YT to do the following:
Ignore them when you walk in the door.
Don't talk to them.
If you approach them, crouch down to their level.
It worked for me!! Some dogs grow out of it, as my Oliver did, however my exhusband had 2 Jack Russells that never grew out of it. Good luck with this, I'm sure you'll get some good ideas along with my advice.
