Thanks so much guys!!!
Judy, Otis has a curly/corkscrewed dew claw too!!!!
Ollie is doing well. Although he fought me, I kept trying to feel it as my work situation would not allow me to be off this morning. We were from 6 employee's to 3 today and I had to be a receptionist. But last night and this morning I could not feel the claw anymore. I think he ripped it off, but his legs are so furry that it hung on for awhile. Either that, or he chewed it off. But it's not there anymore and he lets me touch it a little now. I don't believe I'm going to have them removed. Just make sure to keep them trimmed and filed. He absolutely hates to be groomed or have his nails trimmed but it's worth it. You can't imagine how happy I am it turned out OK. I was thinking anesthesia, surgery all kinds of bad things. I hope this was the last time. Thanks for all the advice!!!
