Cindy - thank you for checking up on her, that is so thoughtful of you and means a lot!!
Schatzie had a real rough night. She slept in her wired kennel with me on the floor next to her and she awoke almost every hour whimpering. I petted her, talked to her softly and kept giving her water by the syringe.
This am she has been shaking a lot, I have given her Nutri-cal, covered up her kennel with the cover it came with to make it darker and more secure for her and have covered her with my jammy top to keep her warm and so she can smell me.
I have not left her side since last night and she seems to be resting better now.
She did finally pee today, so I am glad that her kidneys are functioning properly.
She hurts real bad, I can see that. Even Annabelle our Schnauzer has not left her side. It's the sweetest thing ever to see Annabelle be so concerned also about her.
She is eating well and even chewed on her chewy this am so I know that the removal of her baby teeth are not bothering her, thank goodness.
I just pray as the day goes on she will start to feel better, but right now I know she is really suffering.
Thanks again for checking up on her....All of you have been so wonderful and caring!
