I took Bob to the vet for his annual shots and checkup..He did great and the vet was pleased with how he looked..I said, "Do you really think he is a Yorkie?"..The vet said.."Sometimes Yorkies get really big..sure, he just might be"...SO we proceeded to the scales and he weighed 19.5 lbs! He gained 4.5 pounds over the past year...
We walked out to the waiting room to pay and there sat a couple with 2 baby yorkies...So cute! The man says to his wife, "Hun, there is a silky.." He was talking about Bob...So we began a conversation and he said that for sure Bob was a silky because they have all the markings of a Yorkie only bigger...
SO I went home and did some research on Silkies and sure enough he does look like one but his weight is more...SO Im still confused! lol..
It doesnt really matter..Honestly it doesnt..I just wish when someone asks me what kind of dog he is, I knew.. Perhaps one day I really will have the dna testing done..
Regardless, Bob says hes happy that you all took him in like family!
