My Biggie is also on The Banfield Wellness Basic Plan. The plan doesn't expire until March 2008. Banfield charges a fortune for everything. When Biggie was neutered, they didn't even mention removing any puppy teeth. When we noticed they were not falling off (he is 7.5 Months now), we did not even discuss taking Biggie to Banfield. Sorry to sound terrible, but that place is a rip off! We have noticed time and time again that they over charge for EVERYTHING. We had Biggie in 2 months ago because he had loose stool for 1.5 weeks and they wanted to charge us 20.00 just for someone to hold him while doing x-rays! We took Biggie to a local private Vet. His estimate to remove 4 teeth came out to 216.00 including all tests, anesthesia, fluids, extraction, etc. His surgery is this Friday..I'm a little nervous, but a feel this vet really cares about his patients..it eases my nerves a little to know that. |
