I do a puppy cut (your groomer should know this style) on my yorkie and it keeps her from picking up all the dirt, easy to brush and take care of and not too heavy for her in the summer. |
i had to have edgar shaved down once. he looked like a jack russell! i actuall think that my yorkie looks better with cropped hair on the body (i think it's almost a puppy cut). i don't have enough time to dedicate to brushing every day and all of that. I Do ADMIRE people who have the time to make their yorkies shine!
i did his head in a schnauzer cut once, but i didn't really care for it. i like a short "lion" head with a smooth body. (but not shaved!!) i did a "baggy pants" once, but the back of his legs got tangled and was a b* to comb out.
