Well guys I have been kicking around in the back of my head about going back to school to get my RN. I now have myself talked in to it but wanted to know if there was anyone that had ever completed the LPN to RN program. In Indiana it is only a year and gives me credit for what I have already done. Will be a very hectic year and probably a pretty poor one as I don't think I will be working much but will be worth it in the end. I have always wanted to work in OB and around here they won't let an LPN work there. Husband is all for me going back and willing to make the sacrifice of not much money while I go. I have not said anything yet to the kids but know that they will all be supportive. Would love to hear from anyone who has done this. Was it worth it etc. I have been an LPN for over 19 years now so this is all pretty scary and at 43 hope that I am not too old to do this.
