I think they are great if you have recall problems. I guess i'm really lucky that once in the park my babies can go offlead as they always come when called and never run away. I use a regular leash's for walking to and from the park. The two things that worry me about them is that they could go faulty and unlock and that I never feel that I can get a proper hold on them (as in I can't wrap in round my hand as you can with the regular ones).
