Chewy is 100% trained to go in a litter box, with a pad inside. I have the large Purina box. The problem is, the normal size pads aren't quite big enough, Chewy likes to pee in the corners of the box (he sometimes squats, sometimes lifts his leg), and his pee always seems to go under the pad. What a mess! I have gotten bigger pads, tried to use several pads and layer them, but it always seems I end up with a mess. So, what works for you? If you do not have this problem, what size box do you use and what do you use inside, please be specific!!

Does anyone use the small Purina litter box? Chewy is 4.5 pounds, would it be big enough for him? What size pad do you use in your box? Does it go up on the sides in case they pee on the sides? Do you use reusable ones? Sorry for all the questions! I am so proud that Chewy is trained, I just feel I need to figure out a better system. If and when I have someone watch him, I don't want it to so messy!
