Ok I'll try, though I'm no expert. When I got Kalina from the breeder she said to me not to have her spayed until she's a year old because the bigger she is the safer it is. She said that none of her females had their first heat until over a year - about 14 mos. That's all the help I can give you. I'll be wondering the same thing soon myself.
