I Use One Very Similar With No Problem At All, I Keep Mine On Retract And Just Put The Stop On If Harvey Needs To Be Pulled In Closer. I Think It Gives Him The Freedom To Get More Exercise, And We Never Have A Problem With Him Pulling On His Lead Or Out Of My Hands. He Enjoys His Walks So Much....
