Like I said before, with Roxy's LP (and she had it done 2x) - I was given very strict instructions that Roxy must be contained in a very small area for the whole 8 week recovery. I was told that each week she could have a little more 'monitored' walk time when she has to do potty, but other than that, she was to remain contained as to not re-injury her leg. Of course the leg needs to be exercised (minimally) - but the thing is, animals don't know that they just had major surgery and that they need to take it easy. As soon as they feel a little better, they just want to resume Yorkie life (hahaha)

...anyway, I am sorry if I keep bothering you with my posts, it's just that I don't want others who have to go through LP surgery to think that once surgery is over, their little one can 'resume life' b/c it is at least an 8 week recovery that has to be taken seriously, otherwise, what's the point of surgery, right?

I do hope that she keeps feeling better, sounds like she is and soon enough she will be 100% again. And let me tell you, that day is so amazing.
Sasha is in my office with me in one of my rooms in my house. When I meant playing I mean here with Pebbles she is not running. Her stitches will come out in two weeks, but he did tell me that she could walk if she felt like it. In a matter of fact when I went to pick her up at the vets she was standing on all four in the cage. She was not groggy and dying to get out of the cage. They had her watching animal planet. So believe me I am a very good mommy and would want no harm to her,she is not doing anything that she is not supposed to be doing. Thank you for your concern.
