I know how worried you must be but you have to remember how lucky you are that your mom's breast cancer has been caught at stage 1. She has a very good prognosis and in a lot of ways you are lucky because now you know how precious she is and you have a lot of opportunities to tell her and show her how much you love her. Someday you will lose her as we all must lose those we love but hopefully not for a very very long time. You have a been given a gift even if you don't realize it right now. You won't be like all those people out there who have lost loved ones and regret something they did or didn't do. It's completely ok to cry and be scared. I would think that you should just let your mom know how worried you are and how much you love her and not worry about how you look. Your mom is probably really scared herself right now and maybe it would help her. It's never good to keep emotions all bottled up inside and really, more important for someone dealing with life threatening diseases to be able to let it out. Just keeping that stuff all bottled up can kill you so maybe you can help your mom if she's trying to be strong by wearing your heart on your sleeve, so to speak. I really hope things work out for you and your mom. Prayers headed your way! Theresa
