My husband might need for someone to cuff the back of his head. I woke up with ANOTHER headache this morning and I didn't sleep well last night because of it (never sleep when my head is hurting). I saw my husband stop and stare at me and he normally doesn't even notice because I always seem to have a headache or migraine. This morning, my eyes were extremely puffy and I could barely walk because I was just dragging from the pain and just exhaustion, I guess. He came to make and hugged and kissed me and told me that he loved me. I started bawling and saying that as much as a mommy loves their children, it's hard as a stay-at-home mommy because it can get to the point that it feels like it has eaten you alive. I know that sounds drastic but that's how the stress, tiredness, the headaches...all of it combined...this is how feels. I don't know which way is which anymore and something has got to give. He just held me and told me that he was sorry and that he should tell me that I am amazing with the kids, that I do an amazing job and that he knows how hard it is. He said that he is only with them a short time and I am with them all of the time and he knows how stressful it can be in the short time that he is here so he understands my stress. I am glad that he gets that I am needing these words from him.

Now's the time! He is sensitive to your situation----- ask him for one night a week where you can go out while he does the kids bedtime routine.

Go out for coffee with a friend, a movie---to the library and read-------

Come home after the kiddos are in bed and the next day you will feel like you've had a vacation!

It will be hard at first---- but the kids will get use to some daddy time rather quickly and hubby will have a once weekly reminder of what your days are like 24/7.
