Basically, ingredients are listed in order of weight...When just meat like chicken, venison, duck, etc are listed (without the word meal following), it is meat inclusive of water, and water is 70% of the weight. So, Canidae says that chicken meal or whatever kind of meat meal is the meat without the water....Meaning that there's a lot more actual substance than water...The link will help explain a little better.
