I do not care if he grows to be outside of the standard. That is absolutely fine with me. My concern is for his health.

How do you know if a dog/puppy is overweight? Is there a formula? Like height and length compared to weight? Chest measurements compared to height?

Is there a different rule for puppies as opposed to fully grown dogs?
