While I understand your pain and sympathized with you, no one wants a ticket. . However, there are dog laws in every state. These rules are made to protect you and your dog and the people around you. Its your responsibility to check what the laws are in your state. I have even seen people meticulously ask people on the sit what are the laws in your state, because I am taking a trip to XYZ. Yeah its a bitch when you get a ticket. but most of us are breaking some kind of law when we do. Sometimes the police let us off with a warning. but most of the time they have to give out tickets. Dont get mad at them when they actually are doing the job that they are payed to do. Its your responsibility as a pet owner to know the pet laws in your state.
I cant believe people are complaining about car safety laws as well. We all know good and well how buckling ourselves up can save lives... You tell people every day. "Yorkies are so fragile, you have to be careful with your lil fur baby", why should being careful with your Yorkie in a care be so different?
