well i am not sure it is essential (althought the name essential oils might make me think otherwise) here is what i know.. i went to a local health food petstore today and said to her.. i'm giving Healthy powder (i told her what it was) omega 3 and 6, fish oil, vitamin E and Glucoasmine CH. i said.. is there anything i am missing.. she said.. you are doing a great job and it sounds like you've covered everything. she says the Kelp powder that is in the HP is the BEST thing you can be giving. so maybe if i were you i'd start with a Omega 3/6 capsule. i just open it and put about 3-5 drops on her food... but she only gets that every 4th day as we rotate between the things i just mentioned... it won't hurt and will only help. The Glucosamine is more for joints and stuff but still great stuff... the vitamin E is great too... really they are all helpful it's jsut a matter of how much you want to do. SHe said she woudln't suggest i give a multivitamin because it sounds like everything is getting covered in the right amounts right now. PM me if you want more info bella!
