You could also cut mermaid squares and make a valance out of that and then use a coordinating fabric for the bottom curtains (or not have bottom curtains). I think the fabric that Jodi showed would be adorable and I'm sure there are other that could coordinate as well.
Don't worry about the background color of the fabric being less vibrant than your paint. That will give the room just more details if colors compliment and coordinate rather than match exactly!!!! |
Thats a good idea for the quilt and curtains, thank you, are making me feel better. I have 5 yards of this fabric and I just wasnt feeling as confident about it. I like your idea of making a valance with it because i was trying to figure out how to still incorporate this fabric into the curtains without having so much of the big overpowering print.
