I have the Flexi brand. Love it. Just be prudent of the area you walk in. I let mine out full-length or retract it as needed. Of course, you do need to hold tightly onto it. I have a more expensive brand as well, but I like the Flexi best. Have used it for a few years or so now. Has never broken.
