There is a big difference between the "letter" of the law and the "spirit" of the law. This law is obviously meant to protect people from large dogs who could bite. I would go to court and ask the judge for a warning instead. That being said, going to court may not be worth the $50.00. Court is crowded and for the most part,full of criminals! No fun!
