I am sure many have an opinion of what a broker means to them, but the definition of a broker is:
bro·ker (brkr)
1. One that acts as an agent for others, as in negotiating contracts, purchases, or sales in return for a fee or commission.
IMO If no commision is made I believe that would be a referal
