How old is your puppy? All yorkie puppies should be black and tan. Their coat doesn't start changing to blue and gold until several months old. The hair texture of a yorkie puppy should be soft and fluffy, although some will have coarser hair - but it should not be brittle. I never heard of "blue born" yorkies until I joined YT and don't know much about them other than they are blue instead of black at birth, are usually unhealthy, and don't live a very long life. I hope you dont have a "blue born." Do you have a picture?
