well the water is Lake Superior which is notoriously cold (when i lived in the Soo we couldn't go in until august.. it was just THAT cold) but out at Batchewana (where we had our roast.. about 1 hour north of the soo) the water is so shallow for about 30 feet that it gets heated up and was SO warm... i had water shoes in so i could go out as far as Layla wanted to... she was in heaven!!! and it is SO clean!
