I was wondering if you can homecook and just add missinglink?? Can you home cook just 1-2 meals a day and still leave kibble out for snacks or 3/4th meals??
With Diggy's hypo tendancies I am afraid of taking kibble away.

I hear ya!

What I WANT to do is cook Kalina her protein (steamed chicken or lean beef, etc.) and then add a little carbohydrate such as brown rice or whole wheat pasta or couscous, etc. and a little bit of vegetable and voila!! then just add a tsp or 1/2 tsp of ???? That's the part I'm not sure of. In fact, do I have the first part correct? She also enjoys cottage cheese, eggs, tuna, and yogurt - so I would sometimes give her some of those. Would that be ok? I know that once I get the basics down and figure out additives it'll be very easy.
I brush her teeth every day and she seems to semi-enjoy that, but she's still young. She had her first grooming on Saturday and her coat is a little dry. I think good nutrition can only help everything. I'd love some suggestions.
