Responsible breeders (AKA Reputable breeders) do not intentionally breed mixed breed dogs. They do not breed 3lb dogs. When you are breeding purebred dogs, you have a comformation standard to breed to - there is a purpose to breeding purebreds - and that is to get a dog that matches the standard as closely as possible. There is no purpose to breeding mixed breed dogs. I know you want another dog just like the one you have, but that is not how genetics works. The puppies will get half of their genes from the mother and half from the father. They may not look like the mother or act like the mother at all. The puppies may kill the mother as they are being born and you may be left with several puppies to bottle feed every two hours. There really is a high risk of you losing your female by breeding her. And honestly, the puppies are not going to be just like your female. Genetics are very complicated, and when you are breeding mixed dogs it's even more complicated...giving you even less of a chance of getting a puppy just like your female. All of those friends and family that want a puppy from you - why don't they adopt a yorkie, chihuahua, or a yorkie/chihuahua mix from a rescue? There are a lot out there that need homes. Please be responsible and spay your little girl

Educate yourself and buy from reputable breeders or rescue.
