I do not have a male yorkie, but if I did you bet he'd be wearing ribbons, bows, and clothes. Now, I may not put him in pink, but he would definitely be dressed.
In response to the "its dumb" comment, there are some practical reasons to have them in clothes. I have a chi named Harley. He is seven years old and has seizures which the vet has determined is stress/anxiety related (not completely 100% sold on that as I think that is the term vets and ppl doctors use when they can't explain something). He also has severe separation anxiety. This has nothing to do with lack of training, etc (we've tried different classes and methods). The one thing that we have found that helps him more than anything is a t-shirt. It makes him feel more secure and he is a totally different dog with his t-shirt on. With his t-shirt on I don't have to hold him, I can walk out of the room, I can even leave the house and he is OK. He is a happier, healthier dog with his shirt on.
