You should take some time and research this forum for all of the advice on breeding.There is a lot including what books to read and the fact that it is best to have a mentor, especially for your first litter. A mentor would be an experienced yorkie breeder who would take you under their wing ad show you the ropes so to speak and actually be there for the whelping.
All of this education will take time and, in the meantime, so you do not feel pressured to make the decision, I would suggest buying some belly bands for your male. It will make your life much easier!
