I adopted 2 yorkies at age 1 1/2 from someone who was overwhelmed by caring for them and a new baby. Bubba & Roxie were and are, even after more than 4 years with me, as different as night & day.
Roxie wants to run & play & bark & chase squirrels & carry her toys everywhere nearly all day long.
Bubba, well Bubba lives up to that name (& image of a good ole boy!) He's a couch potato, doesn't care about toys - except for a good chewy toy bone. He never barked, I bet for the 1st year I had him. Now he barks occassionally.
Your new little guy may just be more laid back. Just love on him & his personality will shine thru!
