I know a lot of these quotes seem a tad "over the top" but ... is it a good vet, knowledgeable of these tiny babies and do you trust him/her? We have on occasion paid a lot more than we should have for goods/services but after weighing the pros & cons in the end made good decisions! We especially have been guilty where Toto is concerned.
