Max loves Doggie Day Care. He gets to play, be with other humans, and, in general, has a wonderful time. He comes home dirty, smelly and exhausted. which is how a little boy should come home from a day of group play.

There are some things you need to be certain of though. Max's Day Care does not walk the dogs! (Unless John is there - but I got him that job, so he walks Max for me). Not a good place for training.

You've got a few options. One is a dog walker/sitter. They're very popular and pricey in NYC. There may be day cares where they will walk the dog if you explain your needs, or you might try to find a private person who watches dogs at their home.

Good luck and be sure they meet your needs and are highly recommended. I originally sent Max to a place and then found out that a lot of dogs came home with kennel cough and other health issues.
