I grew up out in the middle of nowhere right on the foothills of the adirondacks and never saw a bear but I know they must be there. Now, as an adult, I think of it especially when things are really quiet and it does spook me! More recently they had a moose sighting and that's been the big news. You'll have to come for a visit!
