I work from 9:30-630 Monday-Friday. I leave Paddington at my parents' house, where there is almost always someone there. I can't stand the thought of leaving him in his kennel all day, and only letting him out for a few minutes while I'm on my lunch break, and my mom LOVES taking care of him.
My mom follows my instructions pretty strictly, and has helped me train him from day one. My dad and brothers, however, do not follow my doggy rules, and it is making it so hard to house train Paddington! My mom and I get him almost completely potty trained, and then one or two days with my dad or brothers undoes all of it! For example, my dad thinks it's cruel to put him in his kennel. Soooo... Paddington has free roam of the house ALL the time! I came home today, and he was tearing up TP in my bedroom (the contents of my laundry basket completely strewn about, a fewchewed up CD's lying around, and my new magazine completely destroyed) and peeing all over the upstairs hallway... was anyone home...?.... NO! My dad left him out. He had been wandering around the house all day! I told him that he is like a toddler, and can't be left unsupervised. My dad said then I should send him to daycare
so I AM!
It would probably just start out as two days a week, to see how we like it and to give my parents a break (particularly my dad). This is the best place I've found so far- I think... It would be $18 a day. Is that reasonable? I am going to go look at the place sometime next week I think. What do you guys think????
