Default Such a dilemma!

Higgins is trained to sleep in his crate at night so that he will not make any pees and poops. Don't know WHY he isn't night trained by now....we've tried everything. HOWEVER, DH Don The Dog Hater*, just can't stand to be separated from his boy all night and usually sneaks Higgs right into the bed.....then quietly picks after him in the morning. And when we are traveling in the motorhome, he sleeps with Don and NEVER makes a mistake in the RV. Go figure.

*Don never had a puppy or dog in his 68 years on earth and did NOT want one. It took Higgins a whole 15 minutes to completely ensnare the old man. Now Don looks at me and says "Never make me choose, my dear!" He is completely devoted to our little one.

Wherever he sleeps at night, you should still crate train him. It is so important! Higgs likes to travel in his crate.....feels more secure....and he is.

And a great big WELCOME to YorkieTalk!
