I'm leery about giving him rawhide sticks because he swallows them, and I've heard they can be tough to digest. He has kongs and lots of rubber toys to chew. He also has a hard hoof toy that is good for his teeth.
But he still loves sticks, and it's hard to keep them away from him. If others think sticks are bad for him, I'll try the bitter apple product that was suggested. Thanks.
