Default Bitter Apple

Have you tried a product called "bitter apple?" Drs. Fosters and Smith also have a similar product under their own label. You could start by spraying anything that should not be near his teeth or tongue. The other thing, I have to ask - what do you give your dog to chew? Chewing is natural and a necessary for dogs but you don't want him chewing anything that is not safe. If you are finding whole bits of interesting stuff in his stool and esp, if you see a dark stool (black in color) or any "red" - you may be in for some trouble. I had a poodle growing up who was a soil/poop eater - she developed a GI tract ulcer and lost a lot of weight.
