i've never used it...so i know nothing about it. all i know is you need to make sure there aren't a lot of "fillers" or "by-products". you had a dane so you are familiar with fillers and by-products i'm sure...they cause bad gas in danes and a dane with gas...well....we need not talk about that LOL
anyway...i used Royal Canine and maggie went nuts for it. i have not heard anything bad about it. but we have 3 dogs and it is so hard to keep them on separate foods so i have switched maggie to the same thing our other dogs eat.
this is where we get it...i don't know if they are national or not...but i do know they ship their food too.
