A vaporizer may help him breathe easier. If he has an outright attack, go into the bathroom, turn on the shower super hot and shut the door with the fan off. The steam should help him. If he is not significantly better in a day or two I would take him back to the doctor. Kennel cough can be stubborn and can take several rounds of meds to clear up. It can turn into pneumonia also, so better to be proactive. Good luck and keep us posted!
