I'm assuming the dead spots are from your baby's urine?? Female dogs have a much strong uric acid content than do males. The only thing we ever found to help (having owned a lawn fertilizing company) was to regularly treat the lawn with Lime (it is non-toxic) and then water. The Lime will neutralize the uric acid content somewhat. Hope this helps.
