I visited our new Petland to check it out & I think I pi##ed off the saleslady! I asked to see one of the yorkies that was now 1/2 price (was 1800.) she must work on commission-she said she couldn't understand why he was still there. I agreed he was adorable, but their prices were high, when you can get them from a breeder much more reasonable. She stated he was AKC-so I asked for his breeder's name so I could check him out-she said she didn't have it & that they get their puppies from Hunte Corp.-I proceeded to tell her that it was a puppy broker for puppy mills-the conversation went from bad to worse from there!! You all would've been so proud of me!! She then said they had credit approval if I wanted to fill out papers-I said I wasn't going to buy him & if I did, I would pay cash-she asked if I was going to ome back & gave me her card. They must work on commission!!!!!!
