Tiger is sick and I need advice During the weekend, I noticed my yorkie Tiger becoming lethargic, not eating, shivering and starting to breath heavily with a raspy sound. On Sunday, he chased a squirel and it sounded like he was having an asthma attack.
I immediately took him to the Emergency Vet where he was examined and diagnosed as having kennel cough. They took X-rays and said his airway were clear, not collasped or blocked. The vet prescribed an antibioic, Clavamox (two times a day) for seven days. I started him on them on Sunday.
He has not improved but will take food ocasionally. He is still urinating but I have not seen him have a bowel movement yet.
Does anyone have any suggestions? Should I take him to the vet again.
Thanking you in advance for your help,
