Oh wow, I'm sorry you had such a terrible experience!
I have to say though, I have only ever taken Paddington to Petsmart, and I'm always satisfied. I've never gotten him cut, but I always see other yorkies there that come out looking fantastic,so I've been planning on just keeping them as my groomer. The last time I took him, the groomer even showed me how to make a bow that will stay in his hair, and explained to me why it was difficult for me to get a bow in. She showed me how to pull his hair up so that it isn't in his face, and told me to make sure I come to her when his hair is longer, so she can show me how to do a topknot. Everyone seemed so caring to all of the dogs, and they are very helpful with questions. Maybe the Petsmart here is just really careful to hire skilled groomers, but I really like taking Paddington there. I realize that it is probably the equivalent to me going to Best Cuts to get my hair done, but I'm not that picky- yet
Maybe it is because I don't know enough to be picky LOL
I'm not associated with them in any way, other than shopping there; I just wanted to relate that not all Petsmarts can be bad, because I've had nothing but good experiences with the one here!
