Default AKC Yorkie International

At one time a friend of mine who is a attorney looked at my contract from some years ago- and ones that I has signed for babies that I had purchased. He felt that I would have a difficult time enforcing the contract. He stated that interstate laws come into effect and that folks have different rights legally in contracts based on the state that they lived in. It was very complicated and over my head- bottom line was that if someone wanted to fight me over breeding it could be a very expensive and uphill battle. He was not sure if I would win.

If you think that someone wants to breed it is easier to take them under your wing and try and help them with education, being there for advice and to try and help them along the way.

I still think that if you do not want to take the chance of a certain puppy/adult or your lines being bred when placed as a pet- you the breeder should keep it long enough and alter it yourself.

As a forum-you have the right to be interested in the folks who are joining and may place puppies for sale/ or advertise their studs. But please be careful that you do not become vindictive to new members who are joing for the right reasons. There are members on the forum who have purchased yorkies from breeders that other members feel are bad. The term back yard breeder / puppymill is used and as I tried to explain before on a thread some of us use the terms to mean different things.

Which is worse a new member who joins and is a breeder who cares about their dogs and has puppies for sale and lets you know about them or the member of the forum who tells you about a newspaper ad that has puppies for sale? You know nothing about this newspaper ad and members of the forum who want a yorkie are gowing wow $400.00 I can get another yorkie. Do we hold the member of the forum responsible if the newspaper ad is a bad breeder?

If I was looking for a puppy/ and a stud which I am- I enquired to the forum- I thought that this was a group of individuals who cared about each other and would give me good advice. I do not know what lines you have- we all like to brag about our kids- and should be proud of them. As you know it is hard to find others who share the high values and standards that are shown by this group. I wanted to be able to share when I had when I had babies for sale and I wanted help when looking for lines to add to my kids. I thought that is was a work together and a win for both sides.

Maybe the memebers of the forum should ask the administration to remove the for sale and wanted topic and not allow any one to mention that they have puppies available for placement or studs for stud service in any of the other topics. This would put the fear to rest for some of the members.

In earlier posts it was mentioned that YTCA is not always friendly to pet owners. I would hate to see this forum become closed mined and not open to all who care and love the for the breed.

I forgot- just so that you all know- My writing is scattered online and my speach is on the phone. This is not because I am very poorly educated as someone indicated on my website. In 2000 I was diagnosed with cancer in my face. I have been through extensive radiation treatments to my head. The result being I have congnitive problems to parts of my brain. I have Parkinson's Disease as a secondary diagnosis. So when I am at a down time and the Parkinson's doseage is wearing down the brain does not click on all four cylinders. When writing or saying a sentence I might think that I have all the words in place but I have them backwords or missing.

Next to the person who e-mailed me that I am a puppymill who sells my dogs so that I can by drus. Yes, I do use a Duragesic patch a controlled substance like morphine. This is how I control the pain from the Cancer and the damage that the sugery and radiation has caused to the left side of my face and neck. My doctors prescribe this for me and I follow the directions and do not abuse the medication or any others that I am on. If you want my doctors names I will be glad to provide that for you- and no the dogs do not pay for my drugs.

Hope this helps tell a little bit more about who I am and what I am. The Yorkies have been the highlight of my life. They helped me get through the days when I just wanted to give up. I could not because they needed me and loved me for who and what I am.
