Actually VMS you are doing a great job. Your little ones are still young and they are either a baby or a toddler. Just keep up what you are doing, and then out of the blue, they will alert you. I trained Maggie to ring a bell that hangs on our doorknob. That really helps alot. She has free reign of the kitchen and den. The rest of the house I keep either closed off, or gated.
