My continued prayers for Newman and you and your family and for your vet. A friend of ours has a border collie mix & he had to make a decision to have her rear leg removed. He decided to do it and she was able to get around very soon after surgery. She has been without it for 5 years and has done real well. He felt guilt over the decision to remove her leg until he saw that her mind and body adapted quickly and she was a happy girl.
