Some years back an English breeder showed me how check for and remove a retained placenta..stand the bitch on a table..place your hand on either side of the uterus and run it from the rib cage to the end of the vagina, as if you were removing sausage from a casing..it can take a few times, but they always come out for me..or to the opening and you can gently pull it out... |
