Shipping Food Food Shipping:
According to the USPS guidelines, there are two kinds of food for their purposes...perishable and nonperishable. If you need to know about how to ship perishable food items, just go to the USPS website.
Nonperishable items are those items which will NOT spoil. This would include dry dog treats, cookies, candy, etc... So, if what we ship is nonperishable, then we have nothing to worry about. I think they are asking the question about food to make sure you aren't shipping anything perishable. Those items need special handling. Some even need to be refridgerated.
Hope this helps.
