My cats are 5 years old and when I got Harley (at 8weeks old), he would chase and try to play with them. They did not want any of that and would put up with it until they couldn't take anymore and would pop him up side the head and he would leave them alone for a while.
They do not have their front claws so it doesn't hurt him. I think that they have bit him a couple times because he has yelled out. He is as big as them now and every so often he will try to stir them up to play with him and he loves if they chase him! But like I said they will put him in his place when they have enough. My kitties were here long before Harley so they rule the roost pretty much and he knows it. He just acts like that pain in the a&@ younger brother sometimes
