Yes, Dawn merely kills the fleas that are on your dog, so you will need to follow-up with something. And if there are fleas inside your house, you will need to get rid of them so that they don't jump on your furbaby and continue to bite. Do a search on here for the different flea preventatives out there. There are a ton of threads regarding the various products and also natural ways to keep fleas off of them when they go outside.
