Wow, no need to get nasty and condescending. I was simply explaining that I could understand why the poster coined her puppy a "rescue." I certainly did not mean to imply that we should run out to "rescue" puppies at pet stores which obviously would defeat the purpose of trying to do away with puppy mills.
I understand the concept of business and supply and demand but this was not the issue I was addressing. I was trying to defend the poster who obviously feels badly about buying a puppy mill puppy from further shame and attack. It's nice that you knew from a young age that buying from a pet shop is not good practice, I, however, like many, was not that privileged.
